Guide: Stephen Granade

A note from Stephen:

When About.com, then The Mining Company, approached me in 1997 asking me to create a web page for interactive fiction, I was more than a little skeptical. Was the company for real? And did they really want someone to cover adventure games for them?

The company was for real, and they did want an interactive fiction site. My site went live in early May, 1997. For the next four and a half years I wrote about adventure games, and in the process got to meet some wonderful people.

Even though I am no longer with About, I still enjoy writing and talking about adventure games. My old content (and new) is now appearing at Brass Lantern; if you're interested in adventure games, or would just like to see what I've been up to since leaving About, please stop by. I'll leave a light out for you.
