A note from Ned:

I had already been a longtime computer gamer when I joined About.com in September of 1999.  During my time with About I was able to build an extensive list of industry contacts and bring strategy gamers industry news and in depth looks at current and upcoming games.  Since being victimized by About's great purge of September 2001, I've decided to leverage my gaming knowledge and contacts into the launch of a new site, The Gamers' Temple.  The coverage has broadened to include all genres of computer gaming, but the focus remains the same - helping computer gamers to gain a greater enjoyment from their hobby.
