Guide: Judith Kautz

A note from Judy:

I ran the Entrepreneurs site at About.com from December 1998 (when it was The Mining Company) until September 14th, 2001. My focus really is small business. Not only do I operate my own business as a sole proprietor, it is the subject of much of my research and writing.

My education consists of a B.S. in mathematics from the University of Arizona, an M.P.H. and Ph.D. in statistics from the University of Texas and an M.B.A. from the University of Hawaii.  I have been involved in business in both the public and private sectors for over 30 years, including teaching business and being an administrator at the university level. Even in times of employment, I always had some small business activity of my own going.

In 1996 I took the leap into working full time for myself, pursuing my favorite activity, learning more about small business and sharing that knowledge. I have found the internet to be a wonderful place for both of of those activities. I hope my visitors to my About site will enjoy my latest ventures.
