Guide: Laura Dolson

A note from Laura:

It was a great personal loss to me when my site was removed from the About taxonomy in September 2001. Not only did I love the work I was doing, I felt that I was providing a needed service in the Internet women's cancer community. In addition, I had become very moved by and involved with women who were found to have abnormal Pap tests, dysplasia, and HPV (human papillomavirus), the virus associated with cancer. Day after day, women would come to the site in shock and confusion after having been told that they were infected with the virus.

My plans for the future are a bit up in the air right now. After transferring most of my material to my personal Web site (I plan to have this complete by the beginning of November), I may continue to write new material, start a newsletter, etc. Best wishes to all the women who are in need of this information and support.
