A note from Lita:

I developed the Investing for Women site at About.com in 1999. It still appears on the network and includes my work, but is currently unguided. I moved on to bigger and better opportunities. I developed online courses at Bloomberg University and SmartPlanet about investing and financial planning.

Currently, I am spending most of my time writing books. My first book was published by Macmillan's Alpha Books division in September 2001 entitled, "Teach Yourself Retirement Planning in 24 Hours." It is now in bookstores. My second book will be part of Macmillan's Alpha Books popular Complete Idiot's Guide series on Social Security. It's expected to be in bookstores by early 2002. I just signed a contract to write a third book. That one will be part of the Adams Streetwise series also on the topic of Retirement Planning. My third book should be available by the summer of 2002.

I plan to develop another site for beginning investors soon. Check back for more details.
