Guide: Melany Noltenius

A note from Melany:

Having lived in East Tennessee since 1976, and Knoxville since 1982, I've developed a strong love of this region. This love prompted me to become the About.com guide for Knoxville in 1999. I enjoyed corresponding with both natives, and visitors to my city. Unfortunately, due to economic constraints, About.com, Inc. had to reduce the number of websites available to its' users, and my site was one of 300 chosen to be eliminated.

Currently, I am working with ZezeNetwork.com, and am responsible for the Do It Yourself Decorating website. I am in the process of placing all my Knoxville articles, games, polls, and other information on the East Tennessee site sponsored by ZezeNetwork.

I would like to thank everyone for their support during this time of transition. Special thanks to David, Christine, Anne, Pat, Bill, Amanda, Donna, Phyllis, Amy, Jean, Jacqueline, Boise, and many others at the new network. Also, I owe a special thanks to Marco for organizing the new Former About Guides site.
