Guide: Janet M. Perry

A note from Janet:

I hosted the needlepoint site at About.com from 1997 to 2001, and built it up into a huge repository of needlepoint information. Since I left About.com, I've been working as an independent needlepoint designer, specializing in stitch guides for hand-painted canvases. I am working on a book about Bargello, to be published in 2007 which will have over 30 projects and lots of reference information.

I have also published several needlepoint projects and books. You can find all these stitch guides, books, and projects at my business website (link below). In addition I am still publishing my popular newsletter, Nuts about Needlepoint.

Since I left About.com, I have been looking for a home for the content I developed. Most of this information is not available elsewhere and the web is poorer for its lack. The Nuts about Needlepoint site will be that permanent home, and look for old and new content to be added regularly. My two sites will work together to provide encyclopedic needlepoint information, as well as products and on-line classes, on the Web.

You can also find me as the Needleppoint Pro columnist for Cross-Stitch and Needlework magazine.
