A note from David:

I've had a longtime interest in social studies, and I was getting in the swing of things when About cut the entire Kids domain. Anyway, I've recreated the content on my new site. I cover history, geography, cultures, holidays, economics, archaeology and more. My target audience is kids ages 6-15 and their teachers/parents, but many adults read and like my features as well. One of my best-read and most-well-liked packages was a three-part series dealing with the attacks of September 11, putting those attacks in historical perspective and giving ideas for kids and adults on how to deal with sadness and tragedy. I also included some interesting facts about the Twin Towers.

I update often, I write well-researched articles on topical and traditional subjects, and I even include Fun Facts, such as, "The Chocolate Chip Cookie Was an Accident." I don't write down to kids' levels; I just make it easier for them to understand complicated concepts. Kid or not, you'll enjoy my site. Check it out!
