Guide: Elizabeth Rose Mitchell, MSW, LCSW

A note from Liz:

As a career medical social worker and administrator I thoroughly enjoyed developing and editing the site, "About Social Work," for About.com. The site grew, developed a supportive community of social workers and social work students, and, unfortunately, met an early demise during the About.com September 2001 across-the board cuts.

My intent for developing the site was to provide a place where social workers and those interested in social issues could come to gain information, share information, let off steam and try, try, try to balance their lives.

After the site was eliminated from the About.com taxonomy I developed "Social Work World" and have enjoyed seeing social workers from across the world share information and resources. Come join us!
